My name is Seweryn Makowski and I offer professional translation services between German and Polish in both directions as well as interpretation services in Poland and abroad. I am a graduate of German Studies with the speciality in translatology (translation studies) at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland. I am also educated in the field of economics, which significantly facilitates my work when dealing with translations related to economics and marketing. Having finished my studies, I lived and worked in Munich, the capital of Bavaria, for over 5 years. I have gained my experience in translation and interpretation since 2006 during interpreting assignments at business negotiations, business meetings, trade fairs, and when translating texts in different fields, in Poland and abroad. I also collaborate with translation agencies.

I am committed to broadening my knowledge in the areas of my business activities on a continuous basis. My professional work includes the latest technological solutions, such as computer-aided translation (CAT) and quality assurance (QA) tools. I actively use numerous computer programmes which enable me to work effectively and allow me to provide you with the highest quality services at competitive prices.
